    Precipitation Forecast for Northern Utah

    Precipitation forecast for Northern Utah indicates near-normal amount during November through February. The season of January-March may receive above normal precipitation; this is in agreement with the April 1st snow water forecast that indicates an increase from the climatological mean.

    All final models use ARX type; auto regressive (AR) on the season prcp + exogenous variable (X). The exogenous variable is Nino-3 index (which depicts the El Nino that is in effect for 2015-2016).
